Missouri Individual Events Showcase
The Missouri Individual Events Showcase (MolES) is intended to be an educational Program that offers Festival delegates whose troupes do not bring a show to the Festival the opportunity to receive constructive feedback on prepared theatrical material.
The goal for participating students is to find their talent, strengths, and weaknesses and to grow as theatre artists.
NOTE: The following are ineligible for inclusion in MolES: performers in main stage or one act productions, technicians in main stage or one act productions, students auditioning for or performing in all state productions (both actors and technicians), students auditioning for scholarships, and students participating in the Tech Challenge.
In order to be accepted into MolES at the Missouri State Thespian Conference, each entrant must:
- be registered for the conference.
- be registered for one Individual Event as part of the online registration process. pay a registration fee of $10 per event. (An event means each duet acting, or musical theatre, not each individual entrant if more that one person is involved in a presentation. )
All completed applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until November 14. Incomplete applications will not be accepted until all requirements are met. Incomplete applications include:
- those students not registered for the conference
- those not accompanied by the registration fee
- those that do not include titles of performance
- those that do not include the signature of troupe director or acting troupe director
PLEASE NOTE: The entire Festival registration will be held up for processing due to incomplete Individual Events applications. If all the above information has not been provided by November 14, the IE registration is considered VOID and NO REFUND WILL BE PROVIDED.
